ABOUT ME

I spent the bulk of my career as an executive at two high-growth, national nonprofit organizations. The true benefit of working in environments that were under-resourced was seeing first-hand what makes companies great: the people. Along the way, I had incredible managers and moved quickly from being on teams to leading them. The constant in my career was people who believed in me, hired me, promoted me, invested in me and who, to this day, support my efforts. My mentors and managers were extraordinary examples of how to pull the best out of people. I’ve also encountered some managers who weren’t so good, so I’ve learned what not to do as much as I learned what to do.

I loved working in mission driven work. My mission at work has evolved into helping companies become more people centered. So many people don’t have the investment they need to succeed. They keep their heads down and when they look up for guidance, praise, support, advice - there isn’t anyone there.

This all informs who I am as a coach, trainer and consultant: someone who fundamentally believes in people and believes that we all need more investment to succeed and survive.

I live in San Diego with my husband and two sons. I am a mom, wife, sister, daughter, friend, and entrepreneur. When I am not meeting with incredible, inspiring leaders, I can be found with my family, listening to political podcasts, reading, or cooking (but only because my kids have to eat!).

I am certified in the HBDI and received my coaching certification from The Hudson Institute of Coaching and The International Coaching Federation (PCC). I received my certification in team coaching from Team Coaching Studio and am pursuing my diploma and ICF certification in team coaching.
